NOTICE!!!

HELP! Pit Road Rescue (the only Pit Bull Rescue in our area) is a no-kill shelter for abandoned, stray, or owner surrendered Pit Bulls and Pit Bull Mixes. They now have a total of 67 dogs that they are caring for at the rescue center and foster home. They are in need of donations to keep them going through the winter.
They Need:
Food, Food, Food, and more Food
Blankets, towels, comforters, and ot
her bedding material
Paper towels
Clorox or Lysol wipes for disinfecting

We at Wagging Tails are organizing this drive for Pit Road Rescue and any donations can be dropped off at Wagging Tails' Location.

If you would prefer to make a monetary donation we will accept checks, purchase the food, and deliver it to Pit Road. A fifty pound bag of food at Costco is twenty two dollars including tax. Any amount or any goods donated will be appreciated and help the dogs at Pit Road Rescue! If you send a check please make it payable to "Wagging Tails" and put Pit Road Donation on the memo line. Your donations of goods or money are tax deductible.

From Williamsburg, York County, Gloucester and points East and West of those: Take Interstate 64 East to the Fort Monroe exit (last exit before the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel). At the top of the exit turn left onto Mallory Street. Proceed down Mallory for 1.87 miles and turn left onto Sargeant Street. Proceed straight on Sargeant Street and go around the curve. Look for the brick house with the long disabled ramp on your right.
 
From Southside: Take Interstate 64 West to the Fort Monroe exit (first exit after the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel). At the top of the exit turn left onto Mallory Street. Proceed down Mallory for 1.87 miles and turn left onto Sargeant Street. Proceed straight on Sargeant Street and go around the curve. Look for the brick house with the long disabled ramp on your right.
 
From the Monitor/Merrimac Bridge Tunnel: Take Interstate 664 North after exiting the tunnel. Merge with Interstate 64 East and proceed to the Fort Monroe exit (last exit before the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel). At the top of the exit turn left onto Mallory Street. Proceed down Mallory for 1.87 miles and turn left onto Sargeant Street. Proceed straight on Sargeant Street and go around the curve. Look for the brick house with the long disabled ramp on your right.
 
From The Buckroe/Salt Ponds Area: Go to Mallory Street in Buckroe and proceed toward Phoebus. Just past the BIG church on the left you will  turn right on Sargeant Street. Proceed straight on Sargeant Street and go around the curve. Look for the brick house with the long disabled ramp on your right. If you pass the horse farm on Mallory you have missed your turn onto Sargeant Street.

From Mecury Blvd: Proceed East on  Mercury Blvd until you reach MalloryStreet. Turn left on Mallory and proceed for one mile until you see Sargeant Street on your left. Turn left on Sargeant Street. Proceed straight on Sargeant Street and go around the curve. Look for the brick house with the long disabled ramp on your right.
